Fabian Knöbl, artist-in-residence 2022/2023 & 2023/2024
Fabian Knöbl studied at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences. As well as being a designer, Fabian is also a visual artist. As an artist and artistic researcher, his interest lies in manifestations that encompass different media and disciplines. His work puts to the test the opportunities offered by the changeability of material and social reality. For example he explores the presumed statics of traditional sculpture. Fabian employs techniques such as drawing, photography and installation. His artwork has been shown in exhibitions, projects, presentations, workshops and residencies in various European countries and in the USA.
